The brief for this villa was to build a contemporary home with a swimming pool and pool house. The underground portion consists of a large space serving as a garage and fitness area, including a sauna and some leisure spaces.
The ground floor is rather closed on the lateral sides but opens up completely to the garden. Large windows create a stunning relationship with the outside and a large garden wall makes the link to both the pool and pool house. The bedrooms are located on the first floor and have access to a large terrace that faces the garden. The house is made of handmade grey smoked bricks combined with precast horizontal concrete slabs, giving it a natural and nuanced appearance. In combination with the black windows, this material also creates a timeless yet contemporary unity.
The south west façade obtains a structural sunscreen through the cantilevered roof. The house will be insulated according to the current demands and triple glazing makes the large windows equally performant. The house will be provided with all modern comfort.
